In affiliation with Delaware Technical Community College, we are building workforce-development and personal enrichment pathways to increase access to education and training on small vessels. Students in our accredited programs become fully trained small boat handlers obtaining hours towards a USCG Master Mariner credential, or earn an American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) certification as a marine service technician, build strong seamanship skills through consistent access to on-water training while gaining personal enrichment and safety skills, and much more. Similar opportunities will exist for volunteers to build the same skills and gain hands-on training for workforce applications without the need for a college-based program.
